Terms and conditions

These terms describe how working together goes: what we take on, what it costs, and how you can leave.

What's included

We build your website for a fixed, one-time fee and then run it on our servers for a monthly fee. Running it includes hosting, backups, security updates, small content changes within the agreed scope, and one person to ask. The exact scope is in your written offer.

The free preview

The preview is free and creates no obligation. It does not constitute a contract. Rights in the design pass to you once there is a written agreement and the first payment.

Prices and payment

The one-time price to build the website and the monthly price to run it are agreed in writing before we start and include statutory VAT. The one-time price is due on completion. We announce any change to the monthly price at least six weeks in advance; you may cancel with effect from the date of the change.

Term and cancellation

The hosting agreement runs monthly and can be cancelled with four weeks' notice, in text form. There is no minimum term.

When we stop working together

The domain, the content, and the photos are yours. We provide your data in a common format and support a move to another provider within reason.

Liability and availability

We run your website with proper care, but we do not owe any particular level of availability unless we have promised one in writing. You are responsible for the content you supply to us.

Governing law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Munich, where legally permissible.
